Buenos Aires - El Calafate - Ushuaia

Itinerary :
Day01: Buenos Aires
Arrival at Ezeiza Internationa airport, meet local guide and transfer to the selected hotel. (Pvt) Check-in and accommodation.

Day02: Buenos Aires Half-Day City Tour (Sib)
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
During this tour we will visit Avenida de Mayo that runs into the Plaza De Mayo, which is surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo (first City Hall, built during Spanish rule). At the other end of Avenida de Mayo you find the Congress building. Then we continue to San Telmo, the best kept historical neighborhood and eldest district of Buenos Aires. Here we have time to stroll around Plaza Dorrego, where you can find many antique shops. On Sundays Plaza Dorrego is a "MUST", as an antique market takes place there. If you till now did not find the right souvenir, here for sure you will get it. In the fresh shadow of huge trees and also in the streets where Tango couples are dancing.

Next stop is La Boca, a most colorful area. At the famous street Caminito people will meet painters offering their Tango pictures. Passing Colon Theatre, one of the world's best known opera houses and the cultural pride of the "porteños" (as the inhabitants of Buenos Aires are commonly called), we continue to Palermo with its beautiful parks, the City Zoo, Botanical Garden, Argentine Horse Track and National Polo Fields. Palermo is beautiful for its artificial lakes. At the end of the tour we will visit Recoleta area, one of the city's glamorous spots. Recoleta is the quarter of the rich of Buenos Aires, even though it once hosted a slaughterhouse. Here you will find the Municipal Cultural Center, elegant boutiques and excellent restaurants, surrounded by centennial trees.

Day03: Buenos Aires - El Calafate
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from hotel to Ezeiza International airport with guide assistance to take flight to EL CALAFATE. (Pvt)

Day04: El Calafate - F/D Perito Moreno Glacier (Including Entrance Fee To The Park) – Sib
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Starting off from El Calafate, about 80 km separate Perito Moreno Glacier, last 26 km journey within the National Park Glaciers. From its beginning the trip has pleasant surprises. Already in the outskirts of El Calafate, at your right you can see the Argentine Lake with its Round Bay populated with an important variety of birds that can be observed, standing out the swan of black neck, flamenco, duck steam, gallareta, cauquén, giving frame to the typical yellow of the countryside, by the presence of coirones. First 40 km travel across the patagonic steppe, to soon enter in the 26 km after the entrance to the National Park, in order to observe the arboreal vegetation formed by ñires, sour cherries, lengas and cinnamon-coloured, some flowers of diverse colors; the outstanding one is “notro” by its colourful red intense that belongs to the Patagonic Andean Forest. In front of the Glacier, everything is majestic. You can go around the footbridges to catch different views of the Glacier. The excursion can be made through regular or private services and generally it extends to all the day.

Day05: El Calafate - Ushuaia.

Arrival at Ushuaia airport, meet local guide and transfer to selected hotel.

Day06: Ushuaia - H/D National Park (Including Entrance Fee To The Park) – Sib.
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
4 hour tour around one of the most important protected areas in the country and the only one by the sea shore. We will set off from the city center, heading south west, traveling through coastal landscapes and, after watching the glacier valleys, we will stop at the Fuegian Southern Railway station, where passengers can choose to enter the Park on board the famous ‘End of the World Train’. As soon as the passengers reach the Park, the tour around the different interest points gets started. At Bahía Ensenada, the ‘Concheros Antropogénicos’ (rests of mollusks and ashes today covered with vegetation), which are an evidence of the native settlements in the area around 6500 years ago, can be appreciated. Then we head Roca Lake where we can see the geography of ‘Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego’ which has a sister city relationship with the Chilean Republic. After walking along the park, we will get some free time to rest and recover our strength, tasting some chocolate or coffee in “Casita Del Bosque” by the Lapataia River. From there, by bus or van, we will head the end of National Route Nº 3, in Lapataia Bay, then, we will go back to the city.

Day07: Ushuaia
